What's A Blog and Why Should I Have One?

There’s so much talk these days about the wonders of blogging, but the reality is that there are many out there who have never blogged and certainly don’t use it for their business. It’s not because they have anything against blogs per se, it's just that it's a little difficult to make use of a tool if you don’t know how it works. We’re going to spend some time looking at blogs and blogging. Why do people blog? Do blogs really work?

Well first of all, a blog is one of the numerous ways that the internet offers us to help us promote our businesses by helping generate traffic our websites. Whether or not it works, will largely depend on how well you’re able to make use of it. Sometimes this whole advertising *thing* can seem so complicated, especially if you know next to nothing about the subject in the first place. However, if you’re trying to start a business on a budget, then you may want to consider blogging as a way to advertise your business – for free!
